Lowell, MA – Elizabeth C. (Bunker) Lussier, 91, died peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2016, with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Omer Lussier. Born on August 13, 1925, in Billerica, MA, Elizabeth was one of 18 children, born to the late Edgar and Elizabeth (White) Bunker. She was educated in Billerica and spent most of her life as a dedicated wife and mother; always taking care of her family. Betty had a love for playing Bingo and greatly enjoyed music, particularly that of Roy Orbison and Billy Ray Cyrus. She often donated to the Veterans Administration and was a Pen Pal to a few of the veterans within it. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Rita Campbell of Haw River, NC, Edgar Lussier and his companion Denise Methot of Lowell, June Frechette and her companion Ray Coleman of Lowell, Robert Lussier and his companion Sharon-Styman-Krysiak of Tyngsboro, and William Lussier and his wife Deborah of Billerica; 10 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Betty is predeceased by her husband Charles; sons, Charles and George; daughter, Alice; as well as many siblings. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on FRIDAY, October 14, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave, Dracut. Elizabeth’s funeral service will directly follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Dracut, MA – Roland O. Rondeau, passed away Sunday, October 9th, at D’Youville Manor Senior Care Center, Lowell. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris M. (Fisette) Rondeau. Roland was born in Lowell, MA on November 2, 1932, a son of the late Diana (Beaulieu) and Emanuel Rondeau. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pfc(T) in the Korean War, receiving the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a Police Officer for the Town of Dracut for 13 years and he was also employed by Raytheon, where he worked in the Maintenance Department for over 26 years until his retirement. Roland was a member of Saint Marguerite D’Youville Parish, the Pawtucketville Social Club, the Lowell Elks, the Lawrence Elks, the American Legion, and the NRA. He was a former member of St. Theresa’s Men’s Guilde as well as a Parishioner at St. Theresa’s, now known as St. Marguerite’s. He also held membership in the Humane Society of the United States as well as The Sacred Heart League. Roland loved his daughters unconditionally and held a special place in his heart for his granddaughter, Amy, and great granddaughters, Kim and Roewan. His daughter, Diane, and his son-in-law, Michael, were also his special light and caregivers. Roland is survived by his two daughters and son-in-laws Nancy J.M. Broadwell and her husband Michael (deceased) of Moncks corner, S.C., Diane Y. Grandmaison and her husband Michael of Dracut; granddaughter Amy Broadwell Curl and her husband Joseph; two great granddaughters Kimberly M. Broadwell, Roewan M. Curl; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Dolly Fisette; and special friends, Al and Pauline Beaulieu; as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his favorite dogs, Mr. Bubbles and Bella, and Nancy’s new addition, Rocky, that he loved dearly. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Bayberry at Emerald Court Assisted Living, D’Youville Manor Senior Care, and Care Dimensions Hospice for their wonderful dedication and care. ARRANGEMENTS: A private service will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER, AND GRANDFATHER. WWII VETERAN DRACUT, MA– John R. Carnevale, 91, died early Sunday morning, October 16, 2016, at D’Youville Senior Care, after a brief illness.  He was the beloved husband of the late Alice (Garbowski) Carnevale, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage until her passing. He was born in Lowell, a son of the late Joseph and Jennie (Barone) Carnevale, and was a graduate of Lowell High School.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army Air Force, where he served as a radio operator on a B-24 Liberator, which was part of the 801st/492nd Bombardment Group. He took part in flying many covert bombing missions over the European Theater during World War II, being part of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), known today as the CIA. Upon his discharge from the service, he became the owner and operator of the Armory Service Station in Lowell for several years, and worked for many local businesses until his retirement. John was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He spent many winters with his wife Alice in Hallandale, FL, during his retirement, and enjoyed the warm winters with the many friends they had made there. Surviving him are a daughter:  Carlene C. Pappas, and her husband John, of Londonderry, NH; a son:  John R. Carnevale, Jr., and his wife Rosemary, of Dracut; his grandchildren:  Julie Marie Pappas, and Michael Connor Pappas, both of Londonderry, NH; and Kevin John Carnevale and Ryan Michael Carnevale, both of Dracut; his sisters:   Carmilla Makarweicz, of Lowell, Virginia Sheehan, of Lowell; and Mary Milot, of Dracut; as well as many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Daniel Vale, and Joseph P. Carnevale, Jr., and sisters Rita Foley, Grace Dunn, and Carlene Creegan. John’s family would especially like to thank the staff at D’Youville Senior Care for the love and compassion they showed him during his time there. ARRANGEMENTS:  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on WEDNESDAY, October 19, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. His funeral will take place on Thursday, October 20 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Rita’s Church; 158 Mammoth Road; Lowell.  Burial will take place at the Richardson Cemetery, Dracut.
