E. KINGSTON, NH- Joan F. (Lovely) (Ekengren) Pinaud, 74, died peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Oceanside Skilled Nursing and Rehab, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward F. Pinaud III. Born in Lowell on July 6, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jane (Zarzycki) Lovely. Upon graduating high school, Joan went on to spend her career working in the FA Shop at Western Electric, where she set up the machines for over 40 years. In her free time, Joan loved to travel. She would just jump in her car and could drive for hours. She visited Poland with her friends and was able to see Pope John Paul II while on her trip to Rome. She also enjoyed going to fairs, loved trying new foods, and took numerous trips to Portland Headlight and Moosehead Lake in Maine. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family. In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her two children, Edward F. Pinaud IV of Nashua and Lea Merrill and her husband Jonathan of Salem, NH, and her grandson Dustin Merrill. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon Flory of FL and Linda Lutkus of Lowell; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her first husband Carl Ekengren. LAWRENCE, MA- Stewart N. Fraser, 60, died unexpectedly of complications due to Pneumonia on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Lawrence General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Cunningham) Fraser, with whom he shared many loving years of marriage. Born in Wareham, MA on February 2, 1955, he was a son of Carol (Palonis) and the late Stewart A. Fraser. He was a graduate of Marblehead High and earned his Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University. For many years, Stewart worked as a Senior Cost Accountant. Stewart will always be remembered for being a kind, loving and compassionate man, which was reflected in the way he cared for his family and pets. He cherished spending time with them dearly, most especially dining in the North End with his wife, Maureen. Stewart enjoyed taking trips to the beach, skiing, reading and doing yard work. He was also an avid sports fan, and loved to play darts with his team mates. In addition to his wife, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, Rory P. Fraser and his wife Kim of Nashua, NH, and Ashley C. Fraser and her boyfriend Carlos Martinez of Lawrence; two sisters-in-law, Pearl Schmidt of Lawrence, and Josephine Cunningham of Andover; a brother-in-law, Phillip Cunningham of Lawrence; two cherished granddaughters, Mckenna and Kelsey Fraser; six nieces and nephews, Richard, Heidi, Brendan, Cameron, Sabrina, and Jennifer; and several great nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved pets. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Joseph Pierzynski. Christine was born on October 6, 1962, a daughter of Anne L. (Lorrey) Iannuzzo, of Lowell and John C. Iannuzzo and his wife Leslie of Lowell. She was educated in Lowell and a graduate of Lowell High School. For many years Christine worked for National Grid, formerly Colonial Gas. Christine enjoyed gardening and having fabulous dinner parties with family and friends. Time spent with her family meant the most to her, especially her grandson. DRACUT, MA- Normande B. (Blais) Montminy, 91, died peacefully, Monday, February 1st, at Lowell General Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of 65 years to Hector “Pete” Montminy. Normande was born in Lowell, MA on January 12, 1925, the daughter of the late Catherine (Pomerleau) and Raoul Blais. She was educated in Lowell and a graduate of Lowell High School. For many years, Norma worked as an executive assistant for Wang Laboratories and then Hadco. Norma loved traveling and spent many winters in Florida with her husband. She enjoyed jig saw puzzles, crafting, reading and cooking, but most importantly spending time with her family whom meant so much to her. Along with her husband Pete, Norma is survived and will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Diane Lancaster and her husband Cecil of Morris Plains, NJ, Lise Morrison and her husband George of Melrose,MA, and Renee Kalogeropoulos and her husband Peter of Nashua, NH; her son, Guy Montminy and his wife Mary of Londonderry, NH; son-in-law, Frank Gacek of Hampton, NH;sister-in-law Janina Blais of Lowell; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. DRACUT, MA- Dorothy M. (Carbonneau) Lambert, 89, died peacefully Monday, January 25, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Armand J. Lambert, with whom she would have celebrated 69 loving years of marriage this year. Born in Westford, MA on September 21, 1926, she was a daughter of the late William and Adela Lea (Crete) Carbonneau. For many years, Dorothy was employed as an Elderly Home Health Aide at Various Home Health Agencies in Florida. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and family. She was an Adventure Resort Club member in Florida, and enjoyed exploring and doing fun things with her family. Dorothy had a passion for music, as well as a strong faith in God. She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D’Youville/ St. Theresa’s Church in Dracut. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her children, Elaine Levasseur and her husband Robert of Marco Island, FL, Arlene Priest and her husband Edward of FL, Richard J. Lambert of Lowell, Denise Denver and her husband James of Tyngsboro, Diane Kozlowski, proprietor of Grantor’s Domain Real Estate, and her husband Norman, a retired Dracut firefighter, of Dracut; her siblings, Elaine Nichols and her husband Steven of Lowell, Thelma Bowman of Kansas City, MO, Eugene Carbonneau of Lowell, and William Carbonneau of Dracut; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews. DRACUT- Maurice A. “Moe” Normandin, 77, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 6, 2015, surrounded by his loving family after a brief and brave battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of the late Ghislaine “Jessie” (Gosselin) Normandin. Moe was born in Lowell on July 9, 1938 and was the son of the late Clovis and Blanche (St. Onge) Normandin. He attended and graduated Lowell Trade School. He was employed as a crane operator for Crane Rental Co. for 30 years. Also, owned and operated AAA Crane for 10 years. Moe loved traveling, particularly the month long cross country trip he took with his wife, Jessie. He enjoyed his trips to Mohegan Sun and Montreal Canada. He was an avid hockey fan and was a season ticket holder for the Manchester Monarchs and for the Lowell Loch Monsters. Moe was a member of the Local 4 Union, Operating Engineers. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family. Moe is survived by his four children, Ron Normandin and his wife Rachel of Hudson, NH, Diane Sawlan and her husband Ray of Dracut, Michelle Normandin of Lowell, and Mark Normandin and his wife Debra of Lowell; his sisters Gloria Mazza and her husband Joe of Haverhill and Loretta Howard and her husband Ken of Lowell; his six grandchildren, Eric Normandin; Samantha Sawlan and her boyfriend Greg Gaetano, Haleigh Sawlan and her fiancé Jon Hickey; Kyle, Cody, and Danielle Normandin; and one great-grandchild, Daelyn Normandin. She was an avid reader and compassionate animal lover. She enjoyed bingo with friends, making memories on Cape Cod and above all, she loved spending time with her family. DRACUT, MA- Cheryl L. Houde, 70, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, following a brief illness. Born in Lynn on July 4, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Eric and Doris Houde. For many years, Cheryl owned and operated a Hair Salon at North Meadow Country Club in Tewksbury. Most recently, she worked as a bus driver for the Lowell Regional Transit Authority, and prior to that, Tewksbury Transit. It was a job which she truly cherished. She will always be remembered, specifically by her coworkers and passengers, for her outgoing and charismatic personality. Cheryl adored animals. She enjoyed being surrounded by her cats, as well as feeding wild life and other stray animals. She was a member of the Bus Driver’s Union, Local 1578, as well as the Pawtucketville Social Club, where she made many friends. Cheryl is survived and will be deeply missed by her dear friends, Lillian L’heureux and her husband Robert, Coleen Levasseur, Douglas Levasseur, Roger Gagne, and Rita, Roger, and Albert Landry; her beloved cats, Wanita, Lydia, and Doris; her “God-dog” Annie and a sister, Donna Rae Carefoot, as well as many other friends, nieces, nephews and passengers. Radford, VA – Linda M. (Bergeron) Nowak, 52, former resident of Tyngsboro and Lowell, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 in Virginia. Linda was born in Lowell, MA on November 12, 1963, a daughter of Pauline (Lacourse) Bergeron and the late Paul W. Bergeron. While living in Virginia, Linda was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Along with her mother Pauline, Linda is survived and will be missed by her daughter, Amy Provencher and her husband Shawn of Virginia; her three grandchildren, Maya, Ethan and Trevor, all of Virginia; two brothers, Paul Bergeron of Methuen and Mike Bergeron and his wife Mary Anne of Tyngsboro; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. LOWELL, MA- Rolande M. (Langlois) Larose, 84, died peacefully on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Roger A. Larose, with whom she shared 58 loving years of marriage until his passing in 2010. Born in Lowell on July 19, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Elodie (Millette) and Leo Langlois. After high school, Rolande went on to marry her husband Roger, she traveled with him while in the service before having her two children and becoming a homemaker for many years. She then went on to work for Wang Laboratories in both the assembly and accounting departments, and Lowell General Hospital in the accounting department. Rolande was a doting wife, mother, and grandmother. She deeply cherished the time she spent surrounded by her family, particularly her grandchildren. She had a knack for sewing, as well as baking delicious treats that will never be forgotten by all those who tried them. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her two children, Denis H. Larose and his wife Claire of Lowell, and Roger L. Larose and his wife Dianne of Tyngsboro; two grandchildren, Roger L. Larose, Jr., and Kayleen M. Larose; and three siblings, Sr. Annette Langlois of Attleboro, Pauline Perry of New Mexico, and Bob Langlois of New Hampshire; as well as many nieces and nephews. DRACUT, MA- John Carroll, 47, died unexpectedly on February 26, 2016, due to injuries sustained by an accidental fall. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer (Gardner) Carroll, with whom he spent 14 loving years of marriage. Born in Drogheda, Ireland on April 5, 1968, he was a son of Josephine (Rowe) and the late Lawrence Carroll. John spent his career working as a carpenter for Cambridge Contracting, a job that he truly took pride in. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music and watching soccer, or as he called it, “futbol.” His most cherished time however, was spending time with wife and children, whom he loved so much. LOWELL, MA – Edwin “Pin” Stankiewicz, 85, of Lowell, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, March 9, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. Ed was married to the love of his life, the late Ann “Louise” (McArdle) Stankiewicz, who passed away in 2006. At the time of her passing, they were married for 55 years. The two loved taking drives through all of New England, but especially trips up the coast of Maine to the Camden, ME area. He was born on April 11, 1930, son of the late Alexander and the late Veronica (Witalisz) Stankiewicz. He was also predeceased by his sister, Helen (Stankiewicz)(Genaris) Little. Ed grew up in Dracut, MA and was educated through the Dracut school system, graduating from Dracut High School in 1947, where he played baseball, football, and basketball. Prior to his retirement, Ed was employed by Textron in Wilmington, MA. He had also previously been employed by Avco Systems in Lowell, MA and J.P. Stevens in Dracut, MA. Ed loved following sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs NCAA football team. He was extremely proud of his three sons and their families; Alan and Linda (Keough) Stankiewicz of Lowell, MA, Barry and Linda (Pouliot) Stankiewicz of Pelham, NH, and Carl Stankiewicz and his fiancée Tammy Monty of Dracut, MA. He loved all his grandchildren; Rhonda Stankiewicz, Erin and her husband Peter Faticanti, Corey Stankiewicz, Aubrie and her husband Mark Beloritsky, Matthew Stankiewicz, James Stankiewicz, Lori Stankiewicz, and Julien Monty and was also blessed to have 6 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother/sister-in-laws Bob and Jean Reno, Jack McArdle, and Virginia “Gin” MacDonald, good friends John Silva (his best man), Warren Grant, special neighbors Jeanne McDonough and her son John, and Charlie (his daily visitor), along with many cousins, nephew’s, and nieces. LOWELL, MA- Paul H. D’Auteuil, 80, died peacefully, Monday, March 14, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Simone P. (Dufresne) D’Auteuil, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Lowell on November 6, 1935, Paul was a son of the late Thomas J. and Marie (Provencial) D’Auteuil. Prior to his retirement, Paul owned and operated Paul & Son General Construction. He also worked as a machinist for 15 years while living in California. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed relaxing in front of the television and going to the movies. He will always be remembered for being a kind man by all those that knew him. Omer Franklin Ball Retired GE Aviation Machinist TYNGSBOROUGH, MA- Omer “Frank” Ball, 78, a longtime resident of Tyngsborough, died peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Palm Center Nursing Home with his loving wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor H. (Bacon) Ball, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Ohley, West Virginia on December 25, 1937, he was a son of the late William and Oma (Ball) Hollbrook. Omer proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army as a Military Police Officer in Korea and later serving as an aircraft technician during the Vietnam War, until he was honorably discharged in 1966. Prior to his retirement, he was a dedicated Air Craft Machinist for General Electric in Lynn for 32 years. In his spare time, Omer enjoyed taking road trips, particularly to his cabin in Maine, and traveling to see his family in West Virginia. He also enjoyed his antique ford, and was active with Little League Baseball in both Lowell and Tyngsborough. He will always be remembered by all those that knew him for his numerous achievments and the exciting life stories he often shared. In addition to his wife, Omer is survived and will be deeply missed by his four children, Michael A. Ball and his companion Sherri of Lowell, Cheryl Maahs and her companion Richard of Lowell, Patricia Simard of Lowell, and James L. Ball and his companion Cheryl of Tyngsboro; two sisters, Chechie Diego of Mexico, and Opal Webb of West Virginia; and three brothers, William Hollbrook of Virginia, Mitchell Hollbrook of Missouri, and Michael Hollbrook of West Virginia; as well as eight grandchildren; David, Melanie, Thomas, Matthew, Jamie, Joseph, Christopher, and Michelle. He was predeceased by his step sister, Jean Ann Watson. Gerard A. Dube, age 86 of Dracut passed away on March 17, 2016 at his late residence surrounded by his loving family. Gerard was born in Lawrence on October 6, 1929 to the late Ludger and Clairina (Lafond) Dube. Mr. Dube was a former communicant of St. Patrick’s Church of S. Lawrence. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 67 of Lawrence. Gerard was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Following his high school graduation, Gerard enlisted with the United States Navy serving on both the U.S.S. Neobrara and the U.S.S. Chewaucan. He retired from Raytheon after 25 years. Mr. Dube enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and spending time with his family whom he adored. Gerard was the beloved husband of the late Doris (Vaillancourt) Dube with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Carole Marshall, Beverly Ouellette and her husband Bryan, Cynthia Najem and her husband Kenneth, William E. Chasse and his wife Paula, Judith Conway and her husband Thomas, the late Michael Chasse, and the late Richard Chasse. Mr. Dube was the loving grandfather of 15 and the cherished great grandfather of 16. He was the dear brother of Helene Desfosses and Armand Dube. Gerard is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 11 siblings. Friends and guests are invited to call on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church of Lawrence. Interment to follow at a later date at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
