TYNGSBORO, MA- Thomas E. “Tom” Reed, 48, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Born in Lowell on December 9, 1966, he was a son of John F. and the late Ruth Anne (White) Reed. Tom was a graduate of Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School in the Class of 1984. For many years, he was a Welder for Welch Welding in North Chelmsford, and then at various welding shops in the local area. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed carpentry, especially working on projects for his loved ones and he was also an avid dog lover. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor, and his ability to make people laugh. In addition to his father, Tom is survived and will be deeply missed by his three siblings, Wayne Reed and his wife Diane of Lowell, Kimberly Costa of Nashua, NH, and Donna Reed Boucher and her husband Kevin of Hudson, NH; seven nieces and nephews, Eileen, Chelsea, Derek, Savanna, Brandon, Kyle, and Kayli; a great niece, Eden-Cass; a great nephew, Maximus; and his beloved dog J.J.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to his mother, Tom was predeceased by his dog and best buddy, Harley. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT on SATURDAY, June 6th from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with his funeral service to follow. Burial will take place at Richardson Cemetery on WEDNESDAY, June 10th at 2 p.m. Anyone who wishes to attend may meet directly at the cemetery.
