Chelmsford, MA- Lauretta (Wagner) Jacques, 104, died peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of the late Wolfred Jacques. Lauretta was born in Lowell on March 1, 1910, a daughter of the late Gedeon and Aldea (Rivet) Wagner. Lauretta devoted her life to her family whom she loved and cared for deeply. Her most cherished time was spent with them. She also enjoyed playing piano, singing, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Lauretta is survived by her 4 children, Richard Jacques of Lowell, Gabrielle Lavoie of East Kingston, NH, Gloria Labbe of FL, and Rachel Breault of Dracut; daughter-in-law Elaine Jacques; 8 grandchildren, Louis “Butch”, Mark, Todd, Michael L., Susan, Leanne, Robyn, and Lesa; as well as 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Andre Jacques; grandson Michael Jacques; 3 great grandsons; 7 brothers, Leo, Lionel, Rene, Laurier, Bernard, Edward, and Richard Wagner; 4 sisters Gabrielle Wagner, Aline Shannon, Judith Carmody, and Rachel Beauregard and her 3 son-in-laws, Louis Lavoie, Gerard Labbe and Ronald Breault. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on WEDNESDAY January 7th from 9-11 a.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA. Her funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. in the funeral home and burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.
