Michael Thibodeau

DRACUT- Michael F. Thibodeau, 54, died at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 29, 2014. Michael was born in Lowell on November 5, 1960, the son of the late Paul and Colleen (O’Connell) Thibodeau. He was a graduate of the Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in 1981. Michael loved playing poker, and was always a gentleman at the poker table. He was a genuine, easy going guy who would have given you the shirt off of his back if you asked. He will forever be a great friend, and remembered as such. He is survived by his brother, Mark Thibodeau of Wakefield; his two sisters, Paula Thibodeau of Lowell, and Mary Witkos and her husband John of Dracut; two nephews, William and Thomas Witkos; two uncles, Brian O’Connell and his wife Elizabeth “Betty” of Litchfield, NH, and Raymond Thibodeau of Manchester, NH; his best friend Peter Perreault; as well as many cousins and extended family. Michael’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Boston and Lowell VA Healthcare system and also to The Circle Home Health for their care and compassion provided to Michael as well as his family. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Michael’s life on SUNDAY January 11th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Dom Polski Club, 10 Coburn St., Lowell, MA 01850.
