DRACUT- Elphege E. “Fudgie” Brunelle, 71, passed away on Thursday October 9th, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved companion of Sharon A. Egan, with whom he spent 30 loving years with. Fudgie was born in Lowell on March 6, 1943, a son of the late Alice (Morin) and Elphege J. Brunelle. He was employed as a truck driver for 20 years for George Vinal, and was also employed by the Thorndike Factory delivering furniture. Fudgie loved the outdoors. In his free time, he enjoyed building his camp in Maine and spent countless hours with his cherished Tractor. Fudgie enjoyed fishing, four- wheeling, and wood working. However, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family. Along with his companion Sharon, Fudgie is survived and will be deeply missed by his three children, Karen A. Brunelle of Fitchburg, David S. Brunelle of Jaffrey, NH, and Tracie L. (Brunelle) Long and her husband Jeffrey of Wakefield, NH; step children Paul and Katie Newt, and Christine and Thaddeus Kehoe all of Dracut. He is also survived by his sisters Alice Tellier of Belmont, NH and Arlene Nelson of Lowell, as well as his 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Fudgie was predeceased by his son Robert C. Brunelle. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on TUESDAY October 14th from 1-5 PM at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fudgie’s name to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
