DRACUT – Joseph Raymond Marcouillier, 90, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Monday, March 17th at Palm Center Nursing Home in Chelmsford. He was the husband of the late Margaret J. (Leveque) , to whom he was married for 63 years. Joseph was born in Lowell, MA on May 7, 1923, a son of the late Rose Reindeau and Ernest Marcouillier. He was educated in Lowell and a graduate of ST. Joseph’s High School class of 1941. He served his country during WWII as part of the Army until being honorably discharged. He was employed as a printer at Prince Packaging for 20 years until retiring in 1985. He also wokred for Proctors Lumber for many years. He was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Parish at Ste. Therese Church in Dracut and active in their men’s guild, as well as being an usher during Sunday Mass and working the Bingo for many years. Joseph is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Arlene and Louis Leakeas of Dracut; three grandchildren, Michele Lamphier of Dracut, Mark Leakeas of Tyngsboro, and Brian Leakeas of Florida; two great grandchildren, Brandon Lamphier of Dracut and Ashlyn Leakeas of Tyngsboro, sisters, Doris Michelon of Tyngsboro, Claire Danboise of Derry, NH, and Yvette Marcouillier of Franklin, NH and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Armand, Roger and Robert Marcouillier and his sisters Theresa Leclerc and Jeannette Hand. ARRANGEMENTS: It being his wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be private. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT.
