**PLEASE RUN WEDNESDAY WITH PHOTO** DRACUT- Robert A. Marvin Sr., 66, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Claire R. (Rainville) Marvin. Robert was born on May 17, 1947 in Lowell. He was the son of the late Stanley R. Marvin and Jeannette M. (Dupuis) Marvin. He graduated from Dracut High School and was active in Football, Basketball & Track. He Continued his studies in Computer Science at Fitchburg State College. He proudly served his country when he enlisted in the United States Marines until he was honorably discharged in 1967. Prior to his retirement six years ago, he was employed at Raytheon in the Missile Systems Division as a computer systems engineer for 40 years. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, working on computers, and family cookouts. His most cherished time was spent with his family, who he loved unconditionally. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Michelle D. Marvin of Dracut, Kimberly Richard and her husband Charles Matthew of Dracut, and Robert Marvin Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Dracut; his brother Ronald Marvin and his wife Cynthia of Becket, MA; his sister Theresa Tenczar of Pelham; his sister-in-law Judith Marvin of Dracut; six grandchildren Kyle and Kaitlyn, Breanna and Emily, and Heidi and Ian; his dog Max; as well as his life long friend Bob Monahan and several nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his brother Raymond Marvin. TYNGSBORO- Ronald J. Daigle, 55, died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital with his children and family at his side. Ron was born in Lowell on April 18, 1958 and is the son of Donald J. Daigle and Annette J. (Marquis) Daigle of Tyngsboro. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children Lindsay Reedy and her husband Paul of Nashua, Meaghan Daigle of Tyngsboro, and Derek Daigle of Tyngsboro; his step daughter Nina Daigle of Dracut; his siblings Elaine O’Connell and her husband Geoff of Nashua, Diane Sarantakis and her husband John of Naples, FL, Denise Falk and her husband Peter of Munson, MA, and Donna Hawkins and her husband Tim of Hopkinton, MA; his four grandchildren, Alli Daigle, Richie McCarthy, Corey Reedy, and Ava Reedy all of Nashua; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Christopher Parish, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH on Saturday, March 15th at 11 AM. Burial will take place in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro, at the convenience of the family. HUDSON,NH- Margaret “Margie” M. (Thibeault) Lavallee, 72, died Friday, February 28th, at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Richard Lavallee, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Margaret was born in Lowell, MA on December 8, 1941, a daughter of the late Mary (Dunleavy) and Albert H. Thibeault. She was educated in Lowell and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. For many years she worked as a Supervisor for Comet Plastics in Chelmsford. Margie enjoyed doing Karaoke and loved to sing. She also loved taking long rides with her husband Richard on the back of his motorcycle. She was a loving wife, mother and especially doting grandmother and will be deeply missed. Along with her husband, she is survived by her 3 children, Kathleen Boutin and her husband Gary of Nashua, Kelly Rice and her husband Chris of Hudson and Richard Lavallee and his companion Lisa Payne of Derry, NH; 5 grandchildren, Robyn and her husband Cameron, Kristin, Gary Jr., Corey and Ashley; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey; sister, Nora Wright of Lowell, her dog and best friend Booka, her as well as several nieces and nephews. DRACUT- Lorraine A. (Pollard) Rogers, 70, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of James A. Rogers with whom she shared 53 years of a marriage. Lorraine was born on February 12, 1944 in Lowell. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Pollard and Helen (McPhahil) Pollard. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, being outdoors and spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband she is survived by her three children, Tammy A. Hyatt and her husband Gary of Lowell, Lori A Polcari of Pelham, NH, and Robert Rogers and his wife Lisa of Haverhill; her brother Robert Pollard of Tyngsboro, her sister-in-law Margaret Pollard of Dracut, her cousin Thomas Marr II and his wife Cathy of Lowell; eleven grandchildren, Marie, Kristen, Sara and Kimberly Polcari, Steven, Tyler, Zachary, and Dillon and Adam Rogers, Kyle Raney, and Kaitlyn Raney; four great-grandchildren Mikayla Rogers and Elizabeth, Isabelle and Landen; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Timothy Roger of Arizona in 2010 and her brothers Pete Pollard and Gary Pollard. At the request of Lorraine’s family, all services will be private. DRACUT- Rachel A. (Daigle) Descoteaux, 83, died peacefully, Tuesday, March 11th, at the Wilmington Healthcare Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Albert Descoteaux with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Rachel was born in Dracut on April 25, 1930, a daughter of the late Marie R. (Chalifoux) and Albert G. Daigle. She was educated in Dracut and a graduate of Dracut High School class of 1948. For many years she worked as a bank teller and loan officer at City Institute for Savings, Central Savings Bank and lastly Lowell 5. Rachel was a dedicated, caring and loving mother. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for many years and enjoyed traveling. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed dancing, and hosting people at her home. Along with her husband Albert, Rachel is survived and will be deeply missed by her sons, Royal O. Descoteaux and his wife Pamela of Pelham NH, Alan J. Descoteaux and his wife Kathleen of Tewksbury and Gregory A. Descoteaux and his wife Erin of Londonderry, NH; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly, Scott, Melissa, Bryan, Michael and Ian; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Albert Daigle of Dracut and Royal Daigle of Lowell; 3 sisters, Priscilla Daigle and her husband Roger of Dracut, Joanne Gilbert of Dracut and Isabelle Poirier and her husband Roland of Lowell. DRACUT- Ann (Desautelle) Walsh, 89, died Thursday, March 6th, at her son’s home in, Myrtle Beach, SC. She was the beloved wife of the late James K. Walsh, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage, until his passing in 2005. Ann was born in Boston, MA on January 11, 1925, a daughter of the late Anna (Griffin) and Eli Desautelle. She recieved her education in Arlington Mass schools and was a graduate of St. Bernard’s High School. Ann was employed at New England Telephone / AT&T for more than 20 years, while also working at Princeton Properties during the weekend. She worked as a secretary for John Hancock Insurance after graduation. Ann was known to walk five to six miles a day, and participated annually in the LGH Teamwalk. She enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family in Florida, Myrtle Beach, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Texas, as well as reading, Solitaire and sodoku. Her absolute favorite treat was hot fudge sundaes with chocolate ice cream , extra, extra, extra hot fudge and chocolate jimmies. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her five children, James P. DRACUT- Joseph A. Pennachi, 85, died Friday, March 14th, at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of June A. (Smith) Pennachi, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Joseph was born in Newport, RI on April 17, 2014, a son of the late Candida (Labore) and Luigi Pennachi. For 20 years Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, during both the Korean War and Vietnam. After his retirement and honorable discharge, he worked for the Civil Service at Hanscom Field in the Commissary, Propeller Shop, and later in supply pickup and delivery. In addition to his wife, June, he is survived by his five sons Joseph, Michael, Richard, Edward and Ernest Pennachi; as well as 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Theresa, as well as his siblings Dominic, Anthony, John, Americo, Angelo, Teresa, Modesta, Gertrude and Madeline. A self-employed salesman with an entrepreneurial spirit, John loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. He never missed a chance to share a good laugh with friends at the Grand 38 in Pelham. DRACUT- Marsha E. (Garland) Koutrobis, 59, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of William P. Koutrobis. Marsha was born in Madison, TN on January 26, 1955, a daughter of Erlene (Leeper) and the late Norman Garland. She was a longtime employee at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham and for the last six years was employed as a Manager for the CHEM Center in Stoneham, MA. In her free time Marsha enjoyed cooking, bird watching, and loved the beach, especially summers at Hampton, NH but her most cherished time was spent with her loving family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, James Koester and his wife Patricia of Malden, Michael Koester and his wife Tawnya of Methuen and a stepdaughter Natasha Winslow and her husband Chad of Chattanooga, TN; three grandsons, Dakota and Dallas Koester and Dillon Callahan; a great-granddaughter Emma Callahan; a sister, Melinda Price, as well as several other half brothers and sisters. William T. “Pops” Gauthier Of Lowell; 78 William T. “Pops” Gauthier, 78, of Lowell, died Saturday evening, March 22, 2014, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late William H. Gauthier and Angeline (Gosselin) Gauthier, he was born on January 2, 1936 in Lowell and received his education from the Lowell Vocational High School. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a painter for the former St. John’s Hospital. He was also an upholsterer and worked for his son at Billy’s Variety. He was an avid reader and loved to listen to the music of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. He liked to play the trumpet and do crossword puzzles. Most of all, he loved to engage people in conversations. He was the ultimate story teller and enjoyed making people laugh. He is survived by his eight children, Jeanne Fleming and her husband, Thomas, of Chelmsford, Jacqueline Beauregard and her husband, Joseph, of Dracut, Judith Gauthier and her companion, Arthur Hearl, of Ohio, Joanne Janeczko and her husband, Thomas, of Dracut, William G. Gauthier of Dracut, Thomas Gauthier and his wife, Diane, of Lowell, Arthur Gauthier of Dracut, and David Gauthier of Colorado; his 17 grandchildren, Cpt. Andrew Fleming and his wife, Rebecca, Sarah Brown and her husband, Jeremy, Colleen Fleming, Lt. Julia (Perry) Magiera
Dunstable, MA- Julia J. (Stefanek) (Perry) Magiera, 99, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, March 18th, peacefully in her home with loving members of her family by her side. She was the widow of the late Emil J. Magiera, who passed away in 1950. Julia was born in Turner’s Falls, MA on January 10, 1915, a daughter of the late Katherine (Bujak) and Alexander J. Stefanek both born in Poland. After graduating from high school, Julia worked for several Lowell businesses and retired after 20 years, as an Executive Administrator for the Raytheon Corporation. She had a way of drawing people to her, ever ready to enjoy a gathering of family and friends. With a welcoming greeting, she made everyone feel like the center of attention. Julia had an endearing smile that made friends and new acquaintances alike feel as if they had known her forever. For many years she was an active member of the Dunstable senior citizens group, and regularly participated in the Chelmsford Senior Day Care Program and was a long-time member of the TOPS program, where she made many warm and caring friendships. She was a life long member of St. Casimir’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lowell, where she sang in the choir and participated in several other church organizations. She was proud of her Polish heritage and spoke and wrote the language fluently. At her passing, Julia was the caretaker of the gold cane, indicating that she was the oldest citizen in Dunstable, MA, her home for more than 30 years. You could often see her in holiday parades with her gold cane, riding and waving to the crowds. With her daughter, Julie Joyce, she attended dog agility trials and made numerous friends, that will deeply miss her warm greetings and encouragement. Julia is survived by and will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Emil R. Magiera and his wife Donna of No. Chelmsford, Julie Treinis and her husband Andrew of Dunstable, Kathleen Sullivan and her husband James of Midland, MI, and James Magiera and his wife Susan of Mt. Vernon, NH; 8 grandchildren, Cheryl, Pamela, Dickie, Lisa, Elizabeth, Katherine, Seamus, and Patrick; 7 great-grandchildren, Scott, Alicia, Brittany, Abigale, Emily, Anna, and 2 month old Julianna;,1 great-great-grandson, Isiah; and Dusty, her faithful dog of 15 years. She is also survived by her dearest friend of 97 years, Helen Rogers of Pelham, NH., and is also missed and loved by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved siblings, a brother Edward Stefanek and her sisters, Mary Blazonis and Genevieve McCabe, as well as her dear friend of 95 years Mary Pochlopek. DRACUT – Joseph Raymond Marcouillier, 90, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Monday, March 17th at Palm Center Nursing Home in Chelmsford. He was the husband of the late Margaret J. (Leveque) , to whom he was married for 63 years. Joseph was born in Lowell, MA on May 7, 1923, a son of the late Rose Reindeau and Ernest Marcouillier. He was educated in Lowell and a graduate of ST. Joseph’s High School class of 1941. He served his country during WWII as part of the Army until being honorably discharged. He was employed as a printer at Prince Packaging for 20 years until retiring in 1985. He also wokred for Proctors Lumber for many years. He was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Parish at Ste. Therese Church in Dracut and active in their men’s guild, as well as being an usher during Sunday Mass and working the Bingo for many years. Joseph is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Arlene and Louis Leakeas of Dracut; three grandchildren, Michele Lamphier of Dracut, Mark Leakeas of Tyngsboro, and Brian Leakeas of Florida; two great grandchildren, Brandon Lamphier of Dracut and Ashlyn Leakeas of Tyngsboro, sisters, Doris Michelon of Tyngsboro, Claire Danboise of Derry, NH, and Yvette Marcouillier of Franklin, NH and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Armand, Roger and Robert Marcouillier and his sisters Theresa Leclerc and Jeannette Hand. Rita will dearly miss her husband, who loved her very much and always kissed her goodnight. Raymond was born in Lowell on February 24, 1927. He was the son of the late Edward and Emma (Lajoie) Destroismaisons. He proudly served his country during W.W.II in the Untied States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1946. Prior to his retirement, Raymond was employed at Hanscom Field in Bedford as the supervisor of roads and grounds for 27 years. In his free time he enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially trips to Foxwoods and Atlantic City, NJ. But his most cherished time was spent with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Pauline Desrosiers of Nashua, NH and his daughter-in-law Wendy Destroismaisons of Tyngsboro; his eight grandchildren, Christina Mehan, Alisa Destroismaisons, Joseph Desrosiers, Amy Lavigne, Jason Destroismaisons, Jonathan Destroismaisons, Jeanne Fraser, Claire Destroismaisons; eleven great-grandchildren; and his cousin Philippe Lajoie of Florida. He is predeceased by his son Emile Destroismaisons and his brothers André Destroismaisons and Emile Destroismaisons. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on Monday, March 31st from 4 until 8 PM. His funeral will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 1st at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.

Stella Andrews
DRACUT-Stella (Courtis) Andrews of Dracut passed away peacefully on April 1st, at Palm Center Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA. She was the wife of the late James G Andrews. Stella was born in Dracut, MA and was the daughter of the late Lambrene (Demos) and Aristidis Courtis. She graduated from Dracut High School and attended Lowell Commercial College. She then worked in Washington, DC and at Fort Devens in the War Department. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Lowell Medical Instrument for thirty years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, trips to Foxwoods and was an avid red sox fan. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughter Elaine McNulty and her son-in-law Michael of Dracut, MA. Three grandchildren Katie Denommee of Dracut, Kristen Ogden and her husband Jeffrey of Dracut and Michael Denommee and his wife Megan Reynolds of Boston, and two great grandchildren Lucas and Madelyn Ogden of Dracut. She is also survived by her sister Jennifer Botts of Rochester, NY. She was the mother of the late James Andrews and grandmother of the late Jason Andrews. She was also predeceased by her five sisters and two brothers. Special thanks to all the staff at Palm Center by her family. In keeping in accordance with her wishes, services will be held privately. Paul Leduc
TYNGSBORO- Paul R. Leduc, 68, died Friday evening, April 4, 2014 at D’Youville Senior Care surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ruth E. (Cloutier) Dubey-Leduc. Paul was born in Lowell on November 5, 1945. He was son of the late Edward Leduc and Lorraine (Gagnon) Landry. He is also the stepson of the late Donati Landry. He received his education through the Lowell School System. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Toupin Rigging as a rigger for 47 years. In his free time he enjoyed Nascar, camping and working outside in his yard. He also enjoyed the company of his friends and family but most of all, he loved the time spent with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Roland Leduc and his wife Sandra of Hudson, Catherine Rousselle and her husband Paul of Pelham, David Bouchard and his wife Cathy of Derry, Donna McGuire and her husband Ken of Hooksett, Steven Bouchard and his wife Denise of Pelham; Jamie Leduc and his wife Jeanne of Nashua, his stepchildren, Ruth Dubey and her husband Tom Fagnant of Tyngsboro, Raymond Dubey and his companion Maria of Lowell, and Jeff Dubey of Tyngsboro; and his siblings Edward Leduc and his wife Donna of Chelmsford, Roger Leduc and his wife Ethel of Winchendon, Lorraine Fleury of Leicester, MA, Jeanette Cote of Rutland, MA, and Susan Bates and her companion Steve Brooks of Cherry Valley, MA. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren; one great-grandson; his beloved friend Richard Monahan and his wife Paula of Dracut; as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul was also the husband of the late Janet (Gauthier) Leduc. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, on Monday, April 7th from 4 until 8 PM. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 8th at 9 AM followed by his funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, Lowell. Lynda Connell
DRACUT, MA- Lynda M. Connell, 64, died peacefully Tuesday, April 8th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of James G. Connell Sr., with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Lynda was born in Cambridge, MA on February 23, 1950, a daughter of Anthony Grande and the late Margaret (Bell). She was a graduate of Tewksbury High School. For over 25 years Lynda worked as a Operations Manager at the IRS in Andover until her retirement. Lynda greatly enjoyed taking motorcycle rides with her husband and visiting their cottage in New Hampton, NH, traveling and solving soduku puzzles. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family, who meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren. Along with her husband James G. Connell Sr., Lynda is survived and will be deeply missed by her father, Anthony Grande of Newton, NH; 2 sons, James Connell and his wife Stephanie of Pembroke, NH and Michael Connell of Dracut; 4 cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Audrey, Micah, and Jaxon; one brother, Anthony Grande Jr. and his wife Delia of TX, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, April 14th , from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT.
