LAWRENCE, MA- Stewart N. Fraser, 60, died unexpectedly of complications due to Pneumonia on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Lawrence General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Cunningham) Fraser, with whom he shared many loving years of marriage. Born in Wareham, MA on February 2, 1955, he was a son of Carol (Palonis) and the late Stewart A. Fraser. He was a graduate of Marblehead High and earned his Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University. For many years, Stewart worked as a Senior Cost Accountant. Stewart will always be remembered for being a kind, loving and compassionate man, which was reflected in the way he cared for his family and pets. He cherished spending time with them dearly, most especially dining in the North End with his wife, Maureen. Stewart enjoyed taking trips to the beach, skiing, reading and doing yard work. He was also an avid sports fan, and loved to play darts with his team mates. In addition to his wife, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, Rory P. Fraser and his wife Kim of Nashua, NH, and Ashley C. Fraser and her boyfriend Carlos Martinez of Lawrence; two sisters-in-law, Pearl Schmidt of Lawrence, and Josephine Cunningham of Andover; a brother-in-law, Phillip Cunningham of Lawrence; two cherished granddaughters, Mckenna and Kelsey Fraser; six nieces and nephews, Richard, Heidi, Brendan, Cameron, Sabrina, and Jennifer; and several great nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved pets. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9 to 10 a.m. on THURSDAY, February 4th at ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence. His Funeral Mass will directly follow at 11 a.m. in the church.
