LOWELL- Barbara A. (Caisse) Crofts, 62, died Thursday, November 28th at Northwood Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of William L. Crofts, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Barbara was born in Lowell on September 13, 1951, a daughter of the late Geneieve (Butzkiewicz) and Raymond J. Caisse. She attended High School in Venezuela and furthered her education by attending technical college.
For more than 20 years, Barbara worked as a medical transcriptionist for the St. John’s Hospital System.
Barbara lived to go on cruises and went on more than 20 in her lifetime. She also enjoyed cooking but especially baking, but above all she loved being a mother and a grandmother and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband William, she is survived and will be deeply missed by her children Erica Crofts and her fiance Adam LaBrecque of Dracut, Rebecca “Becky” Van of Springboro, OH and and Matthew Crofts of Dracut; her 2 granddaughters Samantha and Ashlyn Van; her siblings Raymond Caisse and his wife Nancy of Ayer and Janet Bisson and her husband Victor of Barefoot Bay, FL, as well as her sister-in-law Stacia Caisse of Newton, NH.
She was predeceased by her brother Paul Caisse.
