DRACUT- Janice L. Couture, 58, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 13th, at Lowell General Hospital, after a long and hard fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the beloved wife of Paul R. Couture, with whom she shared 36 loving years of marriage. Janice was born in Lowell, MA on September 12, 1956, she was a daughter of Marguerite (McCafferty) Montgomery and the late Robert Montgomery Sr. She was a graduate of St. Michael’s School & Keith Hall. She was a longtime communicant of Saint Michael Church. Janice worked for Bon Marche where she & her husband first met and in later years worked for IParty. Her greatest joy in life was her family & friends. She was best known for her bright smile and caring heart and in the simplest of ways was able to make us all feel special, leaving a permanent imprint on our hearts forever. Along with her husband and mother, Janice is survived by her four children, Jennifer James and her husband Jeffrey of Dracut, Michael Couture and his wife Julie of Carver, MA, Jo-Anne Castelo and her husband Jesse of Lowell and Nicole Couture and her fiancé Roger Rondeau of Pelham, NH; her 2 beloved grandchildren, Alexander Castelo and Brendan Rondeau; siblings, Robert Montgomery Jr. and his wife Patricia of Lowell, Brenda Richardson and her husband Kevin Sr. of Lowell and Carol-Ann Lake and her husband James of Dracut; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was also the sister of the late Jo-Ann Montgomery. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respect on THURSDAY, October 16 from 3-7 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on FRIDAY at 9 a.m. with her Funeral Mass to follow 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church in Lowell. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury.
