PELHAM, NH- William J. “Bill” Ferron, 72, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Greystone Farm Assisted Living in Salem, NH surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Celena (Taylor) Ferron with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. William was born in Lowell on December 19, 1941. He was the son of the late John L. Ferron and Jennie (Mieciecka) Ferron. He was a graduate of Dracut High School. Prior to his retirement, Bill was employed at Honeywell as a mechanical engineer for 27 years. In his free time, Bill enjoyed his winter timeshare in the Gulf Coast of Florida. He also loved to travel. His favorite place was Alaska. Bill was an avid fisherman and loved boating and hunting. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He could fix absolutely anything. He was a member of the Masonic Order Pulpit Rock in Pelham and the Order of Eastern Star in Salem where he served in numerous positions. He served as a Deacon at both First United Baptist Church in Lowell and Center Point Community Church in Salem, NH. Bill was part of a large community of friends that he loved. His friends knew they could always count on Bill’s generosity to help them in any situation. The memories of Bill will always be cherished by everyone who loved him. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children Lisa Andrusaitis and her husband Greg of Pelham, NH and Tracey Marcotte and her husband Alan of Dracut; his two sisters, Patricia Cobleigh of Westford and Janet Martin and her husband Pete of Dracut. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Elaine Taylor of Lowell; his sister-in-law Leona Simmons and her husband Daniel of Lowell; and his two grandchildren, Sierra and Logan; as well as several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on TUESDAY, September 23rd from 6 until 8 PM. His funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY, September 24th at 11 AM at Centerpoint Community Church 101 School Street Salem, NH. Burial will be held privately.
