Stella Primeau

LOVING MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, GREAT GRANDMOTHER, AUNT TYNSGBORO- Stella Mary (Kaczmarski) Primeau, 100, passed peacefully at her home, Monday, August 18, 2014, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved widow of the late William H. Primeau who died in 1961. Stella was born in Methuen on September 14, 1913, daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Kaczmarski. She and her husband owned and operated the Riverview Cafe in the early 1960’s and 1970’s. She lived half her life in Lowell and half in Tyngsboro. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church and later, St. Rita’s Church in Lowell. Stella was devoted to her family and celebrated the best gifts of life with all those she loved. The impact she made in her 100 years will stay with her family forever. She will be deeply missed by her 9 children, Lillian Robertson and her husband Richard of Lowell, William Primeau and his wife Jeannie of Dunstable, MA, Rita McLaughlin of Summerfield, Florida, Ann Cashman and her husband Thomas of Tyngsboro, Alice Coughlin of Tyngsboro and George Primeau and his partner Brenda Goodale of Ogunquit, Maine, Mary Nason and her husband Gilbert of Hampton, NH, John Primeau and his wife Ruth Ann of Dunstable, and Joseph Primeau and his partner Dianne Daigle of Hudson, New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Richard, David, Cheryl, Beverly, William, Pamela, Timothy, Malinda, Thomas, Marykate, Kevin, Elizabeth Ann, Kevin, George, Karyn, Linda, Shirley, Mary Jo, Sandra, Susan, Dianne, Gilbert, Joseph, Vanessa, Loretta, Brett, Jason, Crystal, Matthew, as well as 77 great-grandchildren, 54 great-great grandchildren, seven great-great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Jo Primeau who died at birth, her siblings Katherine Kolek of Dracut, Josephine Volonino-Desmarais, John Kaczmarski; sister-in-law and best friend Angelina Kaczmarski who died this year; son-in-law Thomas E. Coughlin; grandchildren, Wayne, John, James and Chad Primeau, Michael Cashman, Stella Grenier and her great-grandson Shane Cashman. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on THURSDAY, August 21st from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on FRIDAY, August 22nd at 8 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 9 AM in St. Rita Church. Interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
