DRACUT- Jean (Radziminski) Paquette, 88, died peacefully, September 7, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Paquette Sr. whom predeceased her in 1989. Jean was born in Hempstead, Long Island, New York, on February 4, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Peter Radziminski and Marianne (Lesnikowska) Radziminski. She was a graduate of Hempstead High School. Early in her life, Jean was employed at Mitchell Field Air Force Base in Long Island, NY, as a secretary for 14 years where she met her husband. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and cooking, but above all her most cherished time was spent with her family especially taking care of and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving and dedicated mom to her Down Syndrome son, Tommy, for all his life. Jean is survived by her five children, Theresa Geoffroy and her husband Rick of Dracut, Thomas Paquette of Dracut, Genevieve O’Grady and her husband Bill of Goffstown, NH, Stanley V. Paquette and Dianne Raymond of Dracut, and Jacqueline Duggan and her husband Shawn of Derry, NH. She is also survived by her sister Camille Radziminski of Long Island, NY; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Maggie. She was predeceased by her son Francis “Frank” Paquette in 2009. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, on TUESDAY, September 9th from 5 until 7 PM. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home on WEDNESDAY, Sept. 10th at 10 AM followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Marguerite D’Youville Church in Dracut at 11 AM. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
