TYNGSBORO- Pauline D. (Langlois) Roy Compton, 77, died peacefully, August 8, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Compton. Pauline was born on September 11, 1936 in Lowell. She was the daughter of the late Leo Langlois and Blanche (Martin) Langlois. She received her education and was a graduate of St. Louis High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Raytheon in Andover in Electronics for 25 years. In her free time, Pauline enjoyed candlepin bowling, crocheting, and singing karaoke, but her most cherished time was spent with her loving family especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her six children, Nancy and Norman Hebert of Lowell, Edward and Annmarie Roy of Concord, NH, Ronald and Renee Roy of Merrimack, NH, Diana and William Roy of Lowell, Lorie Roy of Lowell, and Wayne and Andrea Compton of Salem, MA; her siblings, Ernest Langlois of FL, Roland Langlois of FL, Richard Langlois and his wife Carolyn of Lowell, Gerard Langlois and his wife Patricia of Dracut, and Constance Higgins of Lowell; as well as 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Pauline is predeceased by her sister Jacqueline Sheehan. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, on MONDAY, August 11th from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral will be held in the Funeral Home on TUESDAY, August 12th at 10 AM followed by her burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
