DRACUT- Edward O. Brouillette, 86, formerly of Lowell, passed away Friday, April 25th, at Heritage Nursing Care Center in Lowell, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Dumais) with whom he would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on May 15th. Edward was born in Dracut, on December 21, 1927, and was the son of the late Delphis and Diana (Chalifoux) Brouillette. He attended the Lowell school system and served with the Army during WWII. Edward was a plasterer for many years and then later worked as a custodian in the Dracut School System until retiring. His hobbies included gardening and racing homing pigeons. He enjoyed spending time in the White Mountains region with his family. Along with his loving wife, Jacqueline, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his 6 children, Charles Brouillette and his wife Kathleen of Rindge, NH, Michelle Rancourt and her husband Richard of Tyngsboro, Denise Dionne and her husband James of Danville, NH; Elaine Dupuis- Vance and her wife Debra Vance of Dracut, David Brouillette and his wife Lisa of Dracut, and Dennis Brouillette and his wife Lisa also of Dracut. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Victor, Louis, George, André, Philippe, Normand, Charles, Gabrielle, Sr. Doris Brouillette, Bernadette Jodoin and Gertrude Morneau. The family would like to thank everyone for the love and care that was given to Edward during his time at Heritage Manor. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4-8 p.m. on MONDAY April 28th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. His funeral will take place from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. on TUESDAY with his funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Lowell.
