DRACUT- Donald L. Kelleher Jr., 59, formerly of Maine, passed away Monday, April 21st, peacefully at home. Donald was born in Lowell, MA on March 28, 1955, a son of Waltraud (Beil) Kelleher and the late Donald L. Kelleher, Sr. He was educated in Dracut and a graduate of Dracut High School Class 1973. For many years, he worked as a Shift Supervisor at Wang in Lowell. Don was a Marine and honorably discharged in 1979. He loved Maine, “the way life should be”, and spent many years of his life there. Don enjoyed the outdoors especially deep sea fishing. He preferred the simple things in life: family, friends, and a good laugh. He liked to take in stray animals and his great dane Dewey was always by his side. Don shared a special bond with his son Jason and his wife Joyce was the true joy to his life. Along with his mother Waltraud, he is survived by his wife, Joyce Kelleher of Maine; his son, Jason Angove of Hudson, NH; his step daughter Kellie Hunt of Norway Maine; late step son George Angove; grandsons, Mason and Justin; his brothers and sisters, Steven Kelleher and his wife Debra of Kensington, NH, Peter Kelleher and his wife Heather of Lowell, Kathleen Beauregard and her husband Paul of Dracut, Karen Kelleher of Peabody, and Jennifer Ziemba and her husband Gary of Dracut, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
