DRACUT, MA- Lynda M. Connell, 64, died peacefully Tuesday, April 8th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of James G. Connell Sr., with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Lynda was born in Cambridge, MA on February 23, 1950, a daughter of Anthony Grande and the late Margaret (Bell). She was a graduate of Tewksbury High School. For over 25 years Lynda worked as a Operations Manager at the IRS in Andover until her retirement. Lynda greatly enjoyed taking motorcycle rides with her husband and visiting their cottage in New Hampton, NH, traveling and solving soduku puzzles. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family, who meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren. Along with her husband James G. Connell Sr., Lynda is survived and will be deeply missed by her father, Anthony Grande of Newton, NH; 2 sons, James Connell and his wife Stephanie of Pembroke, NH and Michael Connell of Dracut; 4 cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Audrey, Micah, and Jaxon; one brother, Anthony Grande Jr. and his wife Delia of TX, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, April 14th , from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her Funeral Service will take in the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning. Interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynda’s name to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, 7301 Ohms Lane, Suite 460, Minneapolis MN 55439 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
