LOWELL- Armand A. Cassetta, 86, long-time resident of Dracut, died Monday, February 24th, at Life Care Center in Billerica. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne R. (Tousignant) with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Armand was born in Boston, MA on November 1, 1927, a son of the late Palma (Guido) and Salvatore Cassetta. He received his education in Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. For many years he worked as a Electronics buyer for Raytheon. One of Armand’s favorite past times was to go “treasure hunting” when making the rounds at local yard sales. He was a great lover of animals, and enjoyed walking and spending time in nature. But more than anything he cherished the time he spend with his loving wife and family. In addition to his wife Jeanne, he is survived an will be deeply missed by his 5 children, Anthony A. Cassetta and his wife Sandra of Hampton Falls, NH, Armand J. Cassetta and his wife Patricia of Hudson, MA, Kim M. Cassetta and her husband Lawrence Pizza of Nashua, NH, Michele A. Cassetta and her husband Thomas Rohm of Whitefield, NH, and Nina C. Cassetta and her companion John Chapman of Madison, NH; 12 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Candace, Meghan, Jacob, Mikaela, Alyssa, Aidyn, Xander, Jayson, Alexis, Daniel and Isabella; 2 great-grandchildren Lydia and Desi, as well a 2 nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Antonia Pastore and brother Anthony A. Cassetta. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 27th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave, DRACUT. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated following calling hours at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Grafton St., Lowell. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery in the spring.
